Last night a bunch of us showed up at the VFW on James Island to support "Cosmo and friends" who were playing a gig there. It will be a little journey to get from here to the Music Hall, but hey they did a great job, and it was a lot of fun. Food was good too. I don't know where else you can get two glasses of wine, a home-cooked dinner, tip the bartender, band and waitstaff, and still come away with change from a $20 bill!Didn't stay too late because this morning I met a photgrapher friend at 6.45am and we wandered all over Johns Island looking for photo opps. Didn't find much except a couple of cows, spiders and a few flowers. Oh well - that's what makes it so challenging - you just never know.
